this is my challenge entry, but I'd like to hear your comments for next time I'm hanging out a bus window or what you think of this shot.
I have a couple more, one of which is better, but it doesn't fit with the curves theme and I don't have it with me.

I like the curve, the colors and the blur. I wonder if it would be stronger if something, somewhere in the shot, was kinda sharp? That might help set-off the sense of movement even more. What would it look like if your cropped a tiny bit off the top, so that the curve felt more like it was going to the top left corner?

yeah, a tiny bit off the top would add to it, but then the streetlamp might be too close to the top of the shot.
Something coming in the opposite direction would also add to it, but as this is a 1 second exposure from a moving bus *nothing* is ever going to be sharp. :D

Great, vivid colors! It shows the action and is "artsy". I think this was what you were looking for... nicely done! :thumb

I like this picture... But I think it would be perfect if something was in focus.. either the street or maybe the bus itself? I really like the idea of it though! -Jamie

thanks for looking. To be honest this is pretty much what I wanted, I bit of a 'dream scene' shot.
I see your point about having *something* in focus.
The camera's lens the limiting factor here, this was a 1 second @ iso400, maybe I could have dropped it to 8/10s and still got good exposure but I think the road would still have been OOF.
And it would have been great if something was coming the other way :uhoh .
