These are quite nice and :agree, 1, 4, 6 are the picks of this smaller set.

I looked at those in the gallery and I have to wonder if you used anything in the way of fill flash. There are quite a few where the background is nicely exposed but her face is quite dark. Just wondering....

I really only started to use the fill flash in the pictures where she is poring the sand out of her boot. I realized when I got the pictures on my computer I should have used it more. Lesson learned :thumb

My picks are 4,5, and 6....though 6 could stand to be a tad brighter.

Nice job!:thumb

Lovely girl. Really like 6 & 10. Never heard of a college "senior" wanting senior portraits, but hey....She's a Senior! :D

Yea, it's definitely not as common. She wanting a picture to send out in her graduation announcements. Thanks for the comment!

Hi there. Here are my 2 cents, ... just my opinion ... take it or don't .. :thumb

#1. She looks awfully stiff. It almost looks like she's trying to seel the shoes / they are too overwhelming for the photo / I'd blame it on the way she's sitting in the sand ...
#2. Cute, but need more contrast + her skin could use some work too
#3. Very nice. Wondering if the horizon is somehow disturbing though ...
#4. Nice, but stiff again ...
#5. Cute, but could use a fill flash, and I'd definitely brighten up the pic a bit ...
#6. Nice, definitely needs more contrast though + it needs to be brighter
#7. Not sure if I'm getting this one. Is she supposed to look tough? What is she going to do with the shoes? She's just holding them like this? How about a pic where she's walkign away from the camera, and you have the shoes in the foreground / in the sand ... that would be interesting ... not sure if I like this one :dunno
#8. Nice, but watch out white balance, the sand looks very blue ...
#9. Hmmm, not sure. I'd say the flash is too strong?? :dunno
#10. pretty cool.

Lovely set :thumb I'm not sure I have something to add that's not been said before. Angie has pretty much said what I thought.

#9. Hmmm, not sure. I'd say the flash is too strong?? :dunnoI'm pretty sure that the flash is a bit too overpowering here. It almost feels to me as if she was 'photoshopped in'.
