All good shots but love that first one.

Welcome.:wave

first one's best, the other two are just 'wavy' rather than 'curvy'.
Although in my opion number one's depth of field is too shallow. Still a good shot.
I love the way sand dunes are fractal like - this could almost be taken from a plane - you have little sense of scale.

:agree Yep, I agree with #1 as my choice. It's the best curve. If you cloned out the cigarette butt right in the front it would look like the Sahara desert.
Nice one.:thumb Oh, did I say, "Welcome"? :D Welcome! Glad to have you aboard.:):

#1 is a very neat shot. I'm not sure I know the difference between curves, waves, circles, etc. I just know I like your #1 best.

And I agree with a previous poster that the removal of the cig butt would make it a better shot.

Welcome - nice pics.

question: The sand looks very coarse - is it as course as it looks or an "effect" of the shot?? Idle curiosity . . .

Cloning out the cigarette is a good idea. May be even crop the pic a
bit at the bottom? I would have liked a little increase in the depth of
field myself.

wholenewlight, I think the sand looks coarse partly because it is
a macro shot and partly because I chose to increase the contrast to
darken the shadow.

Yes, crop some off the bottom. That would bring the focal point down from the center and bring that nice curvy line toward the bottom right corner making the composition stronger. :thumb
