A few from the last couple of days. These are all pretty much 1:1. The spider was tiny.

Your use of lighting is very nice and appears so much like natural light even though I know these were shot with flash. Very nice indeed. I think I like the second image the best.

More nice bugs I see. I think you have your lighting down, very nice.

I do have a request. See, Nevada is fairly bug free, and I almost never see a spiderweb like you have in your first picture. I would love to see what a backlighting would do with the web and spider. If you come across another such scene and feel inclined to try it, would you do a backlight shot, maybe even highkey it. I usually don't ask of these things, but your spider shot inspired me and I don't have an outlet for that here.

its a good idea to take the backlit shot early in the morning so that you have dew on the web, which will help define it
