Company posts loss, plans to slash up to 25,000 positions partly due to slumping film sales (http://money.cnn.com/2005/07/20/news/fortune500/kodak.reut/index.htm?cnn=yes)
Hmmm, that sucks.

That stinks. I'm still kinda old-fashioned, I like using film, and I've only ever bought Kodak.
kodak australia film manufacturing has closed down.
i see that they have given up their pro digital camera line.they looked to be quite good.
they are now concentrating on inkjet paper and point and their shoots-it dosen't leave much of a company and whats left does not look all that innovative...

I still love kodak for my colour film, but all my darkroom work is Ilford. And i dont think anyone can be too sure how long they will be around either. It's a shame. I still love shooting film.

What films are still available? I know 35mm, 120 and 220 are, what about 110, 126, Disc, etc? And how about store processing?

110 is still sold at B&H Photo. You can check out their film format selection there. Disc died sometime last century. My local drugstore still does 1-hour film developing, but a lot of the pro labs have died. Also came across this article (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/233248_digi20.html)...
