Action and Emotion did I capture it well?

These were taken last night at my daughter's softball game.

The light was not the best for my lil Canon A80 so I bumped up the iso to 200
Wow it was grainy.So I converted to B&W and added more noise. To much to little?

Second one's cool. First one, I'd be tempted to crop to remove the bench - just show the two players in the drama.
