i combined multiple shots, all taken last week, but figured this wouldnt do well in the challenge cuz it was Photoshop constructed from photos, rather then shot live....but it would be hard to do live, wouldnt it. more of a fantasy piece. would you concider something like this or want a live shot for the challenges?

thanks for your kind words. i had a lot of fun constructing it. maybe i'll do one for some challenge in the future just to see if this type of thing would be accepted. but it might have to be one geared more toward photoshoping as a theme topic.
I cant help but to be reminded of this zepplin cover but mixed a bit in with the inside of pink floyds animals cover.

thanks Sid...but would you vote for it in a challenge? even concidering you liked it the best of the entered shots. too processed rather than live puts some off. sorta "cheating".

I personally like this type of work and you executed it very well. I like it but don't think it works with the curves challenge. The emphasis is not the curves. Otherwise, a really cool creation:thumb.

I love your creation! :thumb I like this type of work a lot. But, I agree that the curves need to be more the focus of the image for this challenge.

thanks a lot Chris and Snappy. it started with a photo of a desk lamp metal reflector and just grew from there.
here's a link to the place that has the hand blown glass jellyfish that i used for the creature.
