Video upload problem..

Ok I finally after endless errors I managed to get some small video clips up to an album I just created..

But.. no matter what method I use.. I tried 3.. the Smugmug system decides to rotate all my videos 90 degrees to the left..

Please help..

I am afraid that once a video is uploaded, we cannot rotate it. It is best to rotate them using a video converter before upload. I use MPEG Streamclip from Squared5.com but there are others here that use an app called avidmux too. You might give one of those a try to correct the rotation information and then upload the files. That should help.

Thanks doc but why does Smug uploader do this? Surely like our still images being oriented correctly they arrive at destination likewise.

Anyone from Smugmug who I assume make these applications care to tell us why videos get a 90 degree left turn on upload?
