I want to know if I can imbed a smug mug page in a html gallery?
What I am trying to do is to create a page telling customers how to order prints and the smug mug instructions is perfect, but I want a page that will keep my nav bar. I don't want the person to have to use the back button to go back and forth.

I have tried this
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>

<iframe src ="http://www.smugmug.com/help/digital-prints" >
<p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe>

</body>

Make sure that when you use an IFRAME that you specify the height and width. Otherwise the browser is free to assign zero pixels to it if it so desires.

Also, if that is what is going into your gallery description (?), don't put the <body> or <head> stuff. Just the <html> and <iframe> stuff is sufficient -- the rest of the site is already doing the <body> and <head> stuff.

I did that but it just displays correctly for a second then it jumps to

It looks like SM breaks frames (i.e, does what you're seeing). There's no fix for that, unfortunately. You might try building your own help page as an html-only page, hiding the owner, and then iframing that?

Here's the code you'll need to start with... you need to set the page to the old journal style...

<html>
<span style="font-size: 24px;">Printing: Buying prints</span>
<div class="spacer"></div>
</div>

<div class="boxBottom">

<img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/buy-photo-prints-3.gif" alt="" width="184" height="29" class="imgBorder right" />
<p>You don't need a SmugMug account to buy prints.</p>
<h3>Step 1: Adding photos to your shopping cart</h3>
<img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/buy-menu-2.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="219" class="imgBorder right" />

<p>Most gallery owners permit you to buy <a href="/prints/catalog2.mg">prints and gifts</a>. If they do you'll find a Buy button above each photo.</p>
<p>To add one photo to your cart at a time, click the <em>Buy</em> button and select <em>This Photo</em> from the menu.</p><p>(The bottom menu items are only visible to logged-in SmugMug account holders.)</p>

<p>You'll have the opportunity to add more than one item at once for this photo. Be sure to click the + sign for each product you'd like to add to your cart.</p> <img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/buy-digital-prints.jpg" alt="Single add" width="554" height="290" class="imgBorder" />
<p>Click <em>Checkout</em> if you're ready to finish your order, or click <em>Back to Photos</em> to keep browsing.</p>
<img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/buying-digital-prints.jpg" alt="checkout or continue browsing" width="688" height="62" class="imgBorder" />
<img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/buy-menu-multiples.jpg" alt="" width="192" height="113" class="imgBorder right" /><br /><p>Ready to add lots at once? Click the Buy button and select <em>Photos in this Gallery</em> from the menu. </p>

<p>You'll see a thumbnail of every photo in the gallery so you can
click to choose:</p>
<p><img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/buy-multiple-photos-2.jpg" alt="Batch add" width="722" height="283" class="imgBorder" /></p>
<p>Selected photos are bright with blue borders. Click the <em>Add Photos to Cart</em> button and we'll add all the photos you've selected to your shopping cart.</p>
<p>You can always go back and add any printable photos on SmugMug to your cart, including those in different galleries.</p>

<h3>Step 2: Getting a perfect order</h3><br />

<img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/digital-prints/photos-cropping.jpg" alt="adjust crop" width="688" height="195" class="imgBorder" />
<ol><li> <div>
<em>I have odd <strong>crop lines</strong> on my photo...</em>

<p>It's a rude shock to discover that your photo won't fit all print sizes without surgery. But at least you're empowered with your own knife. You can tell us what part of the photo to print, right there in the shopping cart. <a href="/help/cropping">Find out how</a>.</p>
<p><strong class="alert">Gotcha:</strong> If you do nothing, only what's inside those crop lines will print on your photo.</p>

</div></li>
<li><div>
<p><em>What's lustre?</em></p>

<p>Our most popular choice. It combines the color saturation of gloss with the fingerprint resistance of matte. <a href="/help/lustre">More</a>.</p>

</div></li>

<li><div>
<p><em> Do I want "compact camera prints?"</em></p>

<p>It's painful but true: all compact digital cameras take 3x4 photos, which fit your TV perfectly but do not fit 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10 paper perfectly.</p>
<p>One solution: buy <a href="/prints/4xd-prints">4x5.3 prints</a>.</p>
</div></li>

<li> <div>

<p><em>I want 2 of everything... </em></p>
<p>Near the top of your cart, you'll find a <em>Bulk Options</em> button. Click it and you'll see: </p>

<img src="http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/help/print-bulk-options.gif" alt="buying digital prints" width="656" height="150" vspace="2" class="imgBorder" />

</div></li></ol>
<h3>I've got more questions...</h3><br />
<ul><li><em> What about shipping?</em>
<a href="/prints/shipping.mg">It's all here</a>.</li>

<li>

<em>What payment methods do you accept?</em>
<a href="/help/payment.mg">The List</a>.
</li>
<li>
<p><em>What's the Add products button for?</em></p>
<p>Click it when you want to buy additional items from the same image.</p></li>
<li><em>Nice <a href="/prints/catalog/AB">catalog</a>. Why don't I have all those choices?</em>

<p>The photo must meet the <a href="/help/print-quality#minprintres">minimum resolution requirements</a> for an item to be available for purchase. Basically, if your image is too small, we can't make a big print out of it. Also, some professional photographers only sell certain items for a given image. </p>
</li></ul>
<h3>Problems?</h3><br />
<ul>
<li> Make sure you're using a supported Internet browser. SmugMug supports: Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Firefox 2 & 3, plus Safari.</li>
<li> If your cart is "empty" after adding images to it, check your browser <a href="/help/cookies">cookie settings</a>.</li>

I "Viewed Source" from the SM pages and then taught myself enough html to add them to my page.
He's a start for you...

SM has recently changed the help page (tabbed page). I have updated mine but really do not plan on redoing the attached link anytime soon.
If you can get the original to work then look me up and I'll aid you in the update.
BTW you should add a link to your site in your signature.

when I create the page you helped with it worked great but then there are links in that that lead to other help or catalog pages. I contacted smug mug help and was told frames were not supported because of security cookies.
For the help pages:rolleyes:rolleyes

You don't need frames, you can copy the html from the page you want and add it into your album description just like you did for the one I sent you. If you check out my site I've done it for several pages.

But the neat thing about frames is that if they make changes or update them you don't have to do anything. The way you are doing it would require me to have to update them on my site to.

Oh, I follow the logic, but my method is the only one since you are not allowed frames.
