Hello,
The Man O War Rocks at Durdle Dor looks like a fantastic place. Beautiful lines, colros and shapes - along with some neat lighting from the fog. I'll have to add that to the "need to visit" list.....

Must be my favorite... Where is that coast Gubbs? I am back from a few days Liverpool, where I had mussels every night at dinner because you made me hunger for them... hm, I think it was really Andy's shot that made me dream of mussels.
I love this little bay, it is so nicely rounded off and seems very sheltered.
Love the colors and the way you positioned the bay in the lower left corner.
Great shots... (I am not too fond of the B/W, like your colored ones more)

Good gosh, Gubbs, I hadn't seen yours. No cows in yours, but the b/w: excellent, just superb.
And the shot like Andy's that is a cool shot of a wonderful "lookdown" to the water.
Wonderful shots. As with Andy's, I do like the first ones you put up best.

So, are there Man O Wars in the water or is it just called that?

No, we don't normally get Portugese MOW (jellies) in the UK, I assume the name refers to the string of rocks.... A man of war was a type of early sailing war ship (http://www.bbc.co.uk/paintingtheweather/csv/large/reef.shtml), so maybe the rocks resemble or once resembled the profile of the ship :dunno
Thanks Ginger
