getting the exposure 'right' on that shot is always going to be hard. The foreground is underexposed (esp. the trees), it'll need some PS work to bring them up a bit. But the sky and mountains are well exposed.

My main issue is the composition. my eye is drawn first from the tree on the left then to the right and then back to the LHS. If the shot was a little wider I don't think it would have that effect.

the big dark tree is a ?mark for me. it's so dark i almost linger on it too long - but it's not interesting enough for me to enjoy that experience - and it takes away from the lovely light upper left. the scene is pleasant enough :D but the pic overall doesn't work for me, i think it would benefit from a different angle of shoot. super job though on the exposure overall - :thumb
