This is awesome. I agree with Jag... very tough round to just pick ten. What's great though is that Jag picked some of the ones I really like but just miss my cut.

I also will be adding my feedback in the gallery by tomorrow.

Very awesome round and I am so grateful to have been allowed to judge. Great job to everyone that entered a photo but especially so to the finalists.

Now I need to figure out which one to vote on. Honestly, it's so close with a few I may just use the very scientific method I have come to rely on for situations just like this one:

Eanie Meanie Minie Mo

Congratulations for the beautiful entries and to the finalists :clap :clap :clap

I can understand that it was so difficult for the judges to chose their top 10 favs.

... and wooow... I'm so, so happy that I made the cut to this final list :barb

- Thank you Allen for telling me not to go with my previous entry :thumb

Now, to choose only one is even more difficult - well... I made my vote
Good luck everyone!!!

What an Awesome Challenge with so many Fantastic Photo's :super
Great job to everyone this round, Outstanding!

It is such an honor to be in the midst of such talented photographers :bow
and I just wanted to say thank you for including my photo for the poll. It was really special to open up the page and see my dog's house there, it gave me a smile. My big boy lives on and how cool is that.

I had an idea and was wondering if I could vote for more than one photo this round as there are just to many cool ones, LoL Hey you never know till ya ask, Right? :ivar

So here's a big shout out to the judges this round. I think they got their work cut out of them. As I will be judging the next challenge I am thinking of them right now in their shoes... the pressure, the stress, lol sorry I eat when I am nervous :food I look forward to doing the best job I can for all & will be lurking in the background & being very quiet to watch the Oops photo's come in over the next couple of weeks.

Again, Great Job To Everyone!

Be Safe & Play Hard When Ya Can

Thank you all so much for the kind words. You guys bring out the best in me. These challenges give me a reason to try to be creative and bring something new and different to life every other week. This was one of the stronger rounds I have seen since I started participating in these challenges back in DSS#21 (Book Cover). It is a pleasure to be sharing this forum with you and to be competing with you.

I want to congratulate all the participants, because we all collectively produced some great images this round. Special congrats go to the new Mega-Challenge #6 qualifiers. Tatiana, I feel good that I adviced you to change your original entry, especially now that you have qualified for MC#6. Dave, you are one tough competitor. Sean and Emily, great work as usual. Last but not the least, thanks to Kerry for coming up with these interesting themes and for running this place smoothly.

Jwear, the feather may very well have been the reason :giggle

Congratulations to all of the others as well. This round could have had 20 or more in the voting. And thanks to everyone who voted for mine.

And now, it's off to have an accident on purpose, after careful planning, and capture it with great lighting, perfect exposure and composition. Man this ones tough!:scratch

edit: Special thanks to Kerry. These challenges are really a lot of fun and continue to help me to grow and improve my skills. I know it must be a lot of work for you to keep all of this going! You're the best!!!!

I really like your photo. No matter how many times I've tried this I can't quite get it right. What's striking about it to me is the clear definition of the waters surface. If you don't mind my asking, are you lighting only from behind a translucent background? The way the edges are dark sort of reminds me of something I read in Light - Science and Magic referred to as bright field lighting to light glass. Just curious.

Anyway, it's really nice.
