These were from my first official shoot not of family members... i feel they are alittle dark, but the histogram says they are the correct exposure..

Can someone please check the images out to see if they will print ok... i understand they arent the best poses and all that jazz, the kids werent really into the shoot as you can see.

way way too dark. You need to post in some fill light. The histograms maybe be fooling you because the red channel is blown while the other channels are underexposed. (it's hard to shoot bright reds)

i had them lighter... but you could totally easily see the background more the floor then anything... should i brighten them back up... and just black the background up in photoshop?

proper exposure of the subject ought to be the starting point. How ever the background ends up..well do what you wish from there on out. You shouldn't be setting your overall exposure on how you want the background to look.

To a degree, but your stuff if way off on the extreme end... dark, over saturated and too-red :(

Our color correction (at Bay) will be done by hand and we'll improve these dramatically but it's really hard when the baseline is this far off.

I lighetend the red saturation up on all of them and did alittle more fill light.... The woman really likes acouple of the photos I did explain to her they were not what i intended but she still loved them...

My main problem was the man flash umbrella was waaaay to far away creating super underexposed which i did not check in the histogram in the photo.... still learning.... hope the 1 or 2 she does like come out half desent..

Ya learn something new everyday right.
