Hi, Earlier on this year I posted some shots of water lilies on our pond - and I commented that all I needed now was a frog on a lily pad. Patience is a virtue, and the frogs are moving in! This one is a 'motorbike' frog - their 'croak' is like a motorbike (Norton) reving up and then changing gear. The only way I could get this one to sit still was to turn the sprinkler on so that it thought it was a shower of rain.

Thanks for looking - comments always welcome.

Cheers, Richard.

Nice shot. Pretty cool little critter if he decided to imitate a Norton. It's clever on your part to use the sprinkler as a shower also. Regards

Hi Azzaro - thanks for your feedback. Don't forget - frogs do their croaking at night - when we are trying to sleep!!

Cheers, Richard.

Hi Mary - thank you for your comment. The males are the brightest - it's their breeding time.

Cheers, Richard.
