it's a quirk of the forum software... you hit post on the post, and then you have to enter the poll info ;) so there's a short lag...

:dunno

Rats, now it's up! :D The bummer about my computer crashing is that I made a really nice path shot on Sunday, and still can't get it from my flash card to the internet.

gubbs, this is a classic "phototoon" worthy of elliot erwitt status.

humungus, "blue"

'gus, i loved the abstracty nature of this shot. good eye!

shakey, i like this path very much, and your post-work. next time - maybe tilt it with "free transform?"

digismile, "iron horse pathway"
http://digismile.smugmug.com/photos/4522030-S.jpg

digi, i like this one a lot. a 10, imo, if the cable car was in focus and the rest oof

svannahman, "marsh path"
http://savannahman.smugmug.com/photos/4523071-S.jpg

lovely shot - serene even

harveymushman, "hirshhorn"

altpro, "tractor path"
http://throughthelensltd.smugmug.com/photos/4706639-S.jpg

altpro, simply beautiful. soft and bold at the same time

damonff, "rolling tire"

Dunno, Dr. I sometimes wonder if the top of this forum doesn't look a little cluttered and confusing. Maybe there's a way to organize it so that it appears more orderly and therefore more inviting to people. :dunno

I had a fairly busy week though, and I think I just missed it. How long was voting open? Seems like only 2 days... is that right?

i really liked this shot. a good choice for b&w, that makes it very dramatic. i like the composition, very much .. the path draws me into the photo. the clouds add a ton of drama to this scene. lots of contrast here, too, which makes me highly engaged.

well done, waxy, and congrats again!
