Nice win, pretty much a runaway; and there were some other nice shots in there as well. It's a self portrait too, isn't it? Did you use a mirror to help compose the shot?

Wheee! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart (cheesy :rolleyes ) I love this community so much and it is what made me want to keep trying to do new things. Everyone here is an inspiration in one way or another, and I appreciate all your comments so much! These challenges are such a great way to exercise our talents! Yay!

Thank you, and my Canon A95 does have an adjustable playback screen so I can see what I'm doing from any angle. :)

... that you have more than a few months experience. (your smugmug home page). It took me that long to figure out how to remove the lens cap. And another few months of developing blurry images of a big eye ball to figure out which end of the camera to look in.
Regardless. A few months. A few decades. Well deserved. Look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
