I'm having problems lately with the size of the display photo in my galleries, which are all created with the Smugmug style. It appears very small, but I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that I have a new computer. On my laptop, it appears like this:

What do I have to do to make the display photo bigger? I tried to switch the stretch function, but it didn't work. Maybe it's my screen settings?
My website is www.jonathanhoule.com

It's because the viewable area in your browser is so short (because of the zillions of toolbars you have enabled in your browser and because of your fairly large header). As you can see the main image is already cut off at the bottom. Making it larger would just require more scrolling in order to view it. If you make more room in the viewable area of your browser, Smugmug will show the main image larger automatically.

I'm a total noobie (been building for only two days so far), but I thought I read that the main image is supposed to be automatically sized to prevent any scrolling? I'm trying to figure out why this seems to be inconsistent on my site/browser.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I think I figured it out in the meantime... The auto-sizing seems sometimes to be off in Owner View, but seems OK when I switch to Visitor View. Make sense?

If you have a very large header, then there might be some initial scrolling (to get the header off-screen). I think that there is some setting for you to fine-tune this behaviour.
As John says, the main issue is that your browser real-estate is very wide, but not very high. Smugmug tries to fit as large a main image as possible, and then fills the rest of the width with thumbnails.
