I am thinking about buying a used studio lighting set. Here is the setup.

Ascor Light 360 Studio/ Portable flash unit that consists of 5 pieces:
Power Pack, 2 - 12" heads ( model: 031-262) with barn doors (by Smith Victor corp. - not shown in the photo), and 2 - snoots (model: 031-265). One of the snoots missing a light bulb.

I can get it for a good price. The studio that is selling it said it was their spare set and they need to get ride of it to free up some space. The 12" heads are 400w/s each. The studio is out of queens NY. The price is pretty good.

Should I be worried that it is coming out of queens? The seller has a feed back rating of 100% on 32 transactions.

I'm not sure if this is a "jab" or a joke? What does the "Queens" Burrough of NY have to do with it?

The seller has a feedback rating of 100% on 32 transactions. That would satisfy me as to their credibility and honesty. There can always be problems. Never venture forth more than you can afford to lose in the worst-case scenario.

Just wondering if Queens has the same reputation of having shaddy dealers like brooklyn. I ordered them this morning cause I need em and can't pass em up for that price just hope I don't get burnt.

Besides, 32 positives is not that high, and what were the transactions? One seller I know of had 200+ positives, for selling $3 items, then listed 20+ $4000 camera all in one day, took all the money and evaporated. All of the buyer got taken.

How much are we talkin about here?

A set of alien bees can be had fo 600 bucks, new.
