Hi Ed,
Had a similar experience a few weeks back. Just charged the batteries on a new camera and lens. My wife is trying to cook dinner but there is a small spider on the range hood. She had to wait about 10 minutes for me to set up and shoot the little bugger. Not nearly as spectacular as your shot, but funny none the least.
