yet another moon shot...

...but hey...it was my first attempt! I was in Yosemite up on Glacier Point and couldn't help but grab a shot of the moon by itself. f/8, 1/100, ISO 100 @ 200mm w/ my 70-200 f/2.8 IS on a tripod. I was surprised to see this much detail on a single exposure...I thought you had to stack them to get this. Of course, this is heavily cropped from the original.

Wow, I would say you did a fantastic job for your first moon shot. I took a couple of shots last night and did not come anywhere close to this.
