Howdy Ridgetop,
The Scenery was stunning, truly in every direction there was something to see and shoot, and you'd walk 10feet
and there would be a whole new set:D :D :D

Howdy Mary Kim,
Thanks very much, the Harbors/ports are always protected by a seawall or jetty.
It was just such a relaxing and wonderful place to visit and tour around. Very easy driving, and I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful the Seafood was, we ate it twice a day and still couldn't get enough.
Thanks again.

Oh yummy....the seafood. Lots of shrimp and sour dough bread?
When is the best time to go here weather wise and tourist wise. I'd like good weather and not many people.

Howdy Mary Kim,
We went September 11th for 2 weeks, and it was really pretty mild, even for us being from Texas. We ran into a couple of cool fronts, and a little rain, but for the most part we took way too much warm weather gear. Also, that time frame is right before things start getting ready to shut down for Winter. They have a lot of festivals for the Changing of the leaves, but still I had heard their crowded isn't any kind of a crowd we are used to in the States. A lot of times we were about the only car on the road on some of the smaller roads, and never felt rushed or closed in by too many people.
Just let us know if you need any info, my Wife loves to plan and keep all that stuff<G>
