Three customization problems

Hi all,

I've been struggling with customization on a site. It's close, but I don't quite have it. THere are several things I can't seem to get. I started with the customizer, then added CSS.

1. I'd love to have a black page background (outside the gold border). I tried setting the body to black, but it doesn't seem to help.

2. The galleries don't seem to be acting like that do in some other sites I've worked wth. I got the styles matching in one gallery and saved the settings.

The custom header/footer is missing.
Something is too wide and breaks the border on the right.
I just noticed as I pasted the URL in here that it's different from other sites I've worked on. I expected it to be popularpittsburgh.smugmug.com7959356_NSw9W#5169100 65XX454HC.3. I had saved the settings from this gallery as a quick setting, but it I can't get it to apply to any of the other galleries. Once I have quick settings, I usually apply it to multiple galleries. I can't apply it to multiple galleries or even to one gallery. I don't get an error...it just doesn't work.

As a note, I did change the name of the site. After we signed up for smugmug, the site name was changed from PositivelyPittsburgh.com to PopularPittsburgh.com, so I did change the name here. I don't know if that's what caused the problem or not.
