View Full Version : Recent Photos on Homepage not working

In remaking my homepage I've added the recent photos options. The problem is that the pictures it shows are in no way recent. If I check my recent photos RSS feed it is displaying the most recent photos. The version on the homepage is not. Please advise.

having the same problem. i've added new photos and 2 days later they still aren't showing as recent.

The solution for me was to make sure that smugislands had the correct setting. To appear on the recent RSS feed the gallery must be set to be visible to smugmug searches and google searches.

I checked and my smugisland settings are set to "no for google" and "yes for smugmug". Some of my pictures are in the recent photos feed but the new ones aren't.

I'm using the photostream feed that a user created here:

And you can see that his photostream script pulls the correct photos (usually) with the most recently added photos. Just below that I have the smugmug's recent photos box and you can see it's pulling photos from an older gallery by a couple of months.

I just don't get it.
