Hi there ~ This is my first post. I took this photo of my daughter almost immediately after receiving my 50mm 1.4 in the mail. I was shooting with a kit lens for quite a while and was excited to try out a prime lens. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

You nailed it! Eyes are in perfect focus.
Wondering what the color shot looks like (cuz I like to see beautiful eye colors)
Great photo of a cute girl!

Thanks. Love them both. Eyes look maybe olive green, but tough to tell with the reflections in them.
You should enjoy taking photos with the lens. Be careful, though, because it is an expensive pathway you have embarked on!:wink

Didn't take you but a second to fire off a perfect shot. Eyes are gorgeous. Very unusual color. She is a cutie for sure. Congrates on the new lens.
Welcome to DGrin. Looking forward to seeing a lot more from you!

rainbow, her eyes are hard to describe, not quite brown and not quite green. And you are so right, this appears to be an expensive path to tread on.
rhondavid and curagton, thank you both!
