That this is the best photo folder I have ever come across!! I love wildlife shots and there are lots of extremely talented nature photogs in here and the pictures you are all producing are excellent. I am trying to change jobs at present and when that day occurs my first task is a shopping trip for a new D70s. I was intending on a 300mm max lens but the stuff in here has made me reassess my priorities and I think a 400mm is now on the list :D

Yes Luckydog, so good it almost scared me off joining. I start a new job Monday, luckily I bought the D70 before the old job suddenly was no more, so it's been a lean few weeks down here in Melbourne. I love the D70, only have the two kit lenses but am dreaming wide angle and 400 - I don't know if that is healthy. My only problem with it is focussing - I am mainly shooting obedience and sports dogs doing Agility or Flyball, and they rocket out of focus quicker than I can adjust, and with the dull weather lately DOF is not good - plus I wear specs which does not help speedy focussing and of course AF is useless. Hope it will all come together. Yes the animal shots here are an inspiration eh?
