I like your PP. It has such a mystic look to it. Nothing to improve here, from my view.

Very nice. I really like the lighting on the foreground trees, and the glow in the distance really makes the image.

Very strange (in a good way), very different, VERY appealing. Great shot!

Where did you find this fantastic scene?

Love it!:clap
Only wish the path had a little more curve to it.
Of course nature and the public works department didn't give that to you.:D

Dwayne, are you willing to comment on how the PP is done in these images, or is that too much intellectual property here? I'm curious mostly out of learning how various functions and layers combine to create the net result.

Thanks.

No problem at all Andrew, here is how I get the Orton-effect using
Nikon Capture NX2 Raw. This should also work for PS.

1-using the midtone slider in (levels) make the photo go alot lighter
2-using the (gaussian blur) tool move the radius slider so the photo goes very blurry
3-go into (blending mode) and select multiply
4-readjust the sliders in (levels) to set the final exposure
5-adjust the global color saturation slider to taste
6-add global USM (sharpening) to the photo or reduce the opacity in the
(gaussian blur) tool step (2) from 100% to 70%

Thanks for the question.
