Soft. Can you post some 100% crops of center of frame, and the eyes? Scaling things down tends to reduce clarity.

Soft. It looks like it tried to focus on the camera strap wording.

I like the pic :D but agree it is soft. I thought the same thing about the words on the strap. It is frustrating isn't it! I end up getting sharp focus on my girls stray bangs which drift over their eyes and it drives me crazy! If you can't retake the pic maybe you can sharpen in post?
