I discovered GA is counting time and page hits for uploading from smugmug.upload.com. How can I remove it? It's showing as a referring site from a nearby city to me.
What is it, exactly, also? I uploaded something yesterday but hits from it are showing today as well, 23 minutes on site? Returning visitor, referral site, cable connection.
I have removed other individual IP addresses, so I'm hoping this can be done, but I'm also concerned this site would show 23 minutes today when I haven't uploaded pictures today. It did show some 30 minutes yesterday, which is when I discovered it, and that made sense because I did upload about that amount of time, but not today.

Thanks.

Bump. I'm very confused by the amount of hits I see coming from this site. Can I remove it from Google Analytics? Don't I need the ip address to do that?

Bump.
I feel I am being too bumpy but I would like to get those stats out of GA.
Is there a way to remove smugmug.upload.com? Can someone give me the IP address to remove it?

If "no" is the answer, I can hear that.:ear

I can't say that I recommend this, but I'm not a GA expert. You can find the ip of upload.smugmug.com in a jiffy, just ping that url
