Large hits, one gallery

Any idea why I would suddenly get 21,000+ hits, extra large, on a single gallery? Could someone running the slideshow option and walking away from their computer do this? According to my calculations, it would take someone leaving a slideshow running for an entire day @ 4 seconds a slide. If this is how SM captures the hit data.

Did you post a link anywhere? 21,000 hits is nothing in the grand scheme of the internet - it sounds like a lot but ...

Nope. I haven't posted the link anywhere and it is a fairly new gallery. 2 weeks old maybe? It is a youth football gallery and I was amazed to see that kind of change so quickly. It really did seem to happen overnight.
