First off, I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me so far. Your advice has been extremely helpful for a CSS noob like me.

I am so close to getting the layout of my site finished but I need one more bit of advice.

I would like to remove the center box stack from just the landing page but leave them for all of the galleries and info pages. So far, the way things are set up, I have the center box removed on my homepage but when I try to put the boxes back in the galleries my header (I think it's the header) seems to bleed into it or something (my header is just a png with of my logo. It has a transparent background). I've tried taking the custom thing off on the galleries but the background goes wrong as well. :dunno

I just want the galleries to have the boxes but the landing page to have no center box. Thank you. Anyhelp would be much appreciated!

You will have to describe in detail what "center box stack" is.

I mean the center stripe/box that text and gallery would normally be on that floats over the bigger grey background. I have removed it from the landing page but by doing so, I have also removed the background box thing that is normally there for galleries. I don't know what the actual term for the center piece is. I'm really new to CSS.

I'm still trying to figure everything out. I want the custom themes to stick in the galleries but now that I have removed the box from my bio/homepage whenever I try and do smugmug themes (unclick the custom them in the settings for the gallary) the background gets all messed up and i don't get the boxes around my photos. I also end up losing my custom header.
