link to gallery category listing?

Hi, I am new to the site and new to customizing, but here is my dilemma:

I have added a slideshow to the home page and added a navigation bar, but I would like to add a link that will go to my listing of gallery categories instead of having them on the home page. I can't seem to get it right... I tried using this link: http://www.korffimages.com/index.mg?viewBy=Categories but it takes me back to my home page, where there are no galleries.

I'd like to do the same, link in my navbar to a page that shows Categories but not show them (the Categories) on my homepage. I followed the tutorial and linked my "galleries" navbar link, to www.eduardomachuca.net/galleries but still goes to the Galleries category, not to a Categories page listing all my categories (that inside have subcategories and then actual galleries).

If I type www.eduardomachuca.net/Categories it takes me back to my homepage address.

I tested logged in and logged out.

What am I doing wrong? Gracias!
