New Thumbnail style shows truncated caption. This style works great for
video galleries but without whole caption leaves a lot out. Any chance of
showing the whole caption?

The whole caption could be thousands of words :) We had to make a decision and this was it. I'm sorry :(

An alternate solution might work. :D Provide a mouse hover with the whole
caption in the hover box same as now in Smugmug style.
This is one of the video gallery (http://www.photosbyat.com/Family-Videos/Smith-Family-Videos/Smith-Family-Videos-1960s/4155160_LUNor#247648385_FzDzs) I need the captions on.

Do you want that to stretch? You don't have stretchy in Thumbnails style....

What to stretch, the new Thumbnail style page or the hover caption box?
I now, finally, have a 24" monitor and most pages with just thumbs or
text/html except Smugmug style look terrible stretched. Try reading text lines
across a large monitor. They invented columns many years ago so text was
easier to read.:D Plus us older folks can't remember where the next line starts.:huh
btw, it's a PITA using the mouse on a big monitor, it keeps slamming
into my keyboard before I reach the left side of the screen. Need a
wider mouse pad and longer arms.:rofl

Biggest problem I'm seeing is that filenames are shown instead of captions when filenames are turned on. I want filenames displayed in smugmug style, but I want captions showing in thumbnails style. And I still want filenames showing as captions when there is no caption.
But when captions are showing, they are truncated far too short. Look at this comparison between the old traditional style and the new thumbnails style:

Any reason the captions have to be shorter than they were in Traditional? This is kind of important for video galleries, where the Smugmug style doesn't work too well since it's hard to tell anything about a video from the screenshot. Especially a video gallery like mine, where all the thumbnails look very similar.
And any chance the filename thing is a bug that will be fixed and not a "feature?"
Thanks!

Nu-uh. You need to go into your Mouse control panel and set your mouse speed faster. :-}
(Seriously. You know about that setting, right?)

I would love to have some control over the length of captions, as well. They're too short to be of much use as they are now.
Also is it possible to force all thumbs on a page and hide the checkbox? I don't like giving my viewers lots of options! :wink
