Hello! My first time showing wedding photos here... This was a small wedding I recently shot. No wedding party, no bouquet. Barely any details (except some flowers on the tables). So I took extra time just taking photos of the bride and groom, which was really fun, except it got cut short when one of the bride's eyelashes half fell off so we had to find the makeup artist and fix it!

The outdoor shots were on the university campus which had a lot of great architectural detail. The indoor location was a beautiful little mansion/castle with light streaming in from all angles so indoors was tricky (I used a combination of ambient / natural and also bounced flash depending on where I was standing).

I really like these! Unusually sweet and intimate. You really captured the love between these two exceptionally well in #1,2,4 & especially 5 (but it's hard to pick amongst them!)

Nice job!

I particularly like #3; great idea!

…did you do another just like it where the faces were in focus, but the aperture setting was the same, so that the ring was out of focus?

Thanks for sharing! :thumb

thank you! the wedding was definitely unusual, but I think it helped stretch my notion of what a wedding could be =) (I also think that the couple were on a tight budget, but these days, who isn't :tough )

A nice series, love that last one.
Did you get any formals of the bride in that amazing window in number 7, I would kill to shoot a bride in that window....

I really wanted to! The moment we got inside the bride said she was done with pictures and just couldn't wait until the ceremony was over =/ So no.
