Hi
There are images within one of my galleries which do not display when slideshow is being played. I either see a black box in the drop down thumbs scroll or a smug mug icon saying photo not available.
I have unlocked the gallery. If someone could kindly take a look at this I would be so grateful.
Thanks

Are you not seeing them logged in or logged out? Are some photos check "hide"?

Hi Al
Last night I was not seeing them logged in and logged out. I did not check hide on any. I thought it might be a space issue as I have a Power account. So I removed some galleries- a total of 7 pages of images. Today I noticed that the problem was gone. Would this have been the cause of the problem?
Should I be uploading smaller web ready files instead?
Thanks

Thanks You have unlimited storage space so there is no connection between that and this issue.

Upload as many pixels as you have especially if you're going to print some.
Also as many as you want, not a space issue. I have found that
sometimes if a photo is not showing in the SS new display copies need to
be generated so it re-caches wherever they are stored.
You can regenerate the photo display copies by
Under tools > more photos > rotate
select all and rotate right
wait some time until they all show rotated
then repeat rotating back left
This should regenerate all the display copies and fix the cache.
This can also be done by re-applying the watermark but you probably don't
have WM's on your family photos.

I have not had a problem since, with the photo display but that is helpful to know. The current problem however, is that sometimes the slideshow option will not run when I visit as guest- but will when logged in. I have no idea why this is happening. Currently it is working again - I removed password then visited it both ways and it was fine. So I have reassigned password and so far it continues to work. But I wonder for how long? Can you please advise me on this.
I am also hoping to find out why my home page slideshow is off center in IE and fine on Safari and Mozilla. Any recommendations there?
Thanks.
Thanks

I'm not sure, but maybe this is the same problem as the one i discussed and offered a solution for here:
