All with my 400mm again. I can't pan the lens to save my life so pelicans etc on the shore are easy.

A local fisherman was near by cleaning his catch & these blokes were waiting for a handout.

I found some ducks, and silly me only put one CF card in my bag, and it was already half full :bash wasn't that great a day for sunshine so I wasn't to annoyed by it :D thanks for sharing your birds Gus, I hope to join the birding club real soon :D Skippy (Australia)

Gus, great shots. I like the first one best. Just me.

As far as panning goes, I think most people pan horizontally, vertical would be a new one to me. I can't pan very well either. If I were to pan successfully, the photo would be a blurred one, liked in some circles, but not here. Or, even better, just the eye would be in focus. But I haven't done it yet.

I think most of these BIF photos are stop action with a shutter speed to allow that, just MHO.

in a rush, I love your photography with any lens, you know that.

Great pelicans Gus. Love this one - give it a caption and try some potd sites. Gives me a good giggle!
