So, I'm using my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 with my Nikon D90, and I've been running into the problem where the lens will stop autofocusing when I half-press the shutter, the way it should. Normally, I turn the camera off, turn it back on, if that doesn't fix it, i make sure the lens is reseated, and sooner or later, it starts working again. I missed a lot of great shots this weekend because of this, so I'd like to get it fixed asap!
So, what are my steps to troubleshooting here? :dunno I've heard of tricks like the eraser to the lens contacts, etc. but never in detail. Somebody mind explaining tips like that? And sorry if I missed a tutorial somewhere that explains this!
Thanks!
~Nick
