Bridal Veil Falls...aren't there a million waterfalls named that? I dunno. Anyway, this one is in Provo Canyon about 50 miles from Salt Lake City. Tell me what you think.

Both shots are very nice but I agree with the others that the second one is the real keeper. Good choice of time of day and composition on the first.
I know this spot very well. I've photographed Bridal Viel Falls in Provo Canyon a bunch of times (not sure if I have a shot as nice as yours, though). I've flyfished the Provo dozens and dozens of times too!
Love your homepage and sample shots. :thumb

Hi Nate...........Looks like a great location, nicely captured on your part.
Waterfalls have this lovely soft flowing look about them, but when your actually there you can see and sometimes feel through the ground your walking on just how powerful that water flow really is.
Thanks for sharing........ Skippy (Australia)

Very nice captures. Good job on your choice of shutter speed - enough to blur the water without leaving it shapeless. I'll go against the grain and give a nod to the first one. You did an excellent job of controlling the exposure with the top and bottom of the photo being lit differently. I also like the WIDE composition.

'mungus, thanks! Glad you liked it.
John, thank you! Wow, you checked out my site? I didn't think anyone ever would. haha Provo Canyon is a very nice place. At that time of the day, most people were headed home to go shoot off fireworks so I had the falls to myself pretty much. :)
Skippy, thanks mate! :) This waterfall was almost theraputic. Very nice feeling around it.
Thanks, Phil! The first one is pretty wide, yes. About 5 shots stitched along with the top being a different exposure then the shaded area. Took a fair amount of work but I think it was worth it.
