I would love to hear your critique of this shot I took yesterday morning.

Well, I dont know if this is good or bad that nobody offered to critique my photo. :scratch:dunno

I thought the lighting caught the mood of sunrise pretty well, but while very cute, the bunny doesn't have much expression.

Sorry, but the bunny doesn't do anything for me. The pose seems lacking as I do like cute bunny pictures. Maybe a different angle. As for the lighting, it's a pleasing angle, but is a bit too green on my monitor. Your shot is tack sharp, great detail in the fur and whiskers. I can almost see the ticks in the ears (just kidding). Nice DOF too.

Just my .02,
Chris

On a side note: I got to ride a Tennessee walker while on vacation (in Tennessee of all places). What a treat. I didn't know such big horses could move so smoothly.

I only saw your posting of the bunny one minute ago. Technical a very good picture. Very sharp and bunny is surely alert. Keep up the good works...
We never get bunnies that close...

Sorry, but the bunny doesn't do anything for me. Thanks for the input Chris. My wife doesn't really like the pic either. Oh, well. :dunno

Steve,

...bunnies are on my list over the coming months as well...

I do like the early morning (golden) light and also your dof....
on the other hand, it lacks 'impact' for me, perhaps the composition needs to be reworked?

Steve, it is important for you to know that I am far from one of the many Dgrin experts that you can learn from.. as I am relatively new to manual photgraphy (not to be confused with point and shoot)
...so please consider my comments with a grain (dump truck) of salt!:noob

G'day steve...always helps to add your exif info to the shot. Things like ISO..shutter speed & aperture will help people assist you with the photo.

I love bunny's, actually this year I am trying to decide to either have a bunny or an egret for Thanksgiving <SWITCH HUMOR OFF>

I am with Chris on this one, while technically perfect, the picture doesn't engage me.

XO,
