Change of Background ?

Under easy customization one can upload an image to use as
background. Therefore, can I create one in Photoshop, upload and
replace current backgroud with creation. ( Using smug theme at present).
Want all CSS,HTMl to remain the same just changing look of background..
If possible what size should I choose to make.I assume if I hit publish and do not
like it I can revert to any theme I want ?

The size is up to you - it totally depends upon the image and what you are trying to accomplish and what screen sizes you think are most common among your viewers. You can also set it to repeat so that it fills the screen no matter what size it is (if it's more of a pattern that is appropriate for that).

Yes, you can remove it from EZC if you decide you don't like it.

lines top center.?? ( Image I am using is 12x10) Your background image has a right/left edge on it (black line). When the background repeats, you see this as a gray vertical line.

Also, you need to remove a </div> from the end of your custom header as you have one too many.

Your image is 864x720 so I'm not sure what you mean by 12x10. I would suggest using a background color of the same color as the end of your graident to fill the parts of the background at the bottom that the gradient doesn't reach to.

needed which give me something to do.. ( more of a gradient - I think)

Ok changed background to my liking.( easy cust. awesome)
Nit Pick here: Clicking all galleries etc shows gallery choices in black..
Why.. Can that be changed. (was using black and white theme before
customization)

THANKS FYI, 12x10 inches means absolutely nothing to a browser (it doesn't even see that dimension). All the browser cares about is pixels. Your page would load faster if you made the image only about 20 pixels wide (leave it the same height). It's repeated in the x-direction anyway so it will look identical and be lots smaller for the browser to load.
