Location recommendations?

Hi all,
I will be going camping in the Adirondacks in the Tupper Lake area in August. Can anyone offer me some tips on shooting locations in that area? Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

years ago i did a ton of canoeing up there.... blue mountain lake to racquette lake ... the racquette river offers a ton of shooting opps all on it's own :D get a good usgs map and have a blast!

Thanks Andy. I will be doing some kayaking up there also. It seems that a week will not be enough time though. :D
