Let me know if y'all are getting bored with these! Here are a few from my late afternoon walk around in my yard. I guess it's what you call "available subject" shooting. I used the twin flashes, the right hand flash was about twice the distance away as the left. I think the ratios look pretty good. I still have had time to figure out how to set the ratios with the flashes. Thanks for looking.

Spider underbelly, strangely only 6 legs. Maybe it's not really a spider.

A long tailed Skipper I think

A little PS watercolor filter added to taste.

One more filter attempt.

Every time I look at your macros I get that creepy crawly feeling yet I keep looking at them, must be because they are so darn good:thumb I like that spider one looks like he/she is spinning it's web?

J: I love the ant!

H: Given manual mode on the flashes, and the same power setting, doubling the distance (from the flash to the subject) will reduce exposure by two stops.

J: It produces a pretty nice ratio.

H: Bored? Yeah right.
