This sage is not in Cleveland, it's in San Diego.:D

I tried again to capture it digitally. The hillsides are covered in blue right now and I have a hard time capturing the color of it. But I love the smell of it in the early morning.

The way they look on the bush

Some of the blossoms are double, one stem comes right out of the top of the other flower.

Those are very nice shots. I like the first shot the best, and also the last shot a lot. I think it would really stand out if you took out the sky in the first and replaced it with a solid black background, the contrast would be exceptional IMO.

Hope you don't mind the edit of your pic, I'm not very good but I think you get what I was going for.

Wow! Gluwater, that's great. I had that thought myself about #1, but I don't think I can do it. It would take hours of work to mask out all those flowers. It's nice in that last one. Only one flower is doable.:D

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your feedback. I always appreciate a second pair of eyes, or a second imagination. Yours are very good.

I love them all, Snappy! Gorgeous flowers............... I have never noticed flowers before, but I am taking them now.

You know the names, Sage is cool.

My personal favorite is the second one. I love fields of flowers.
And with the mtns as a backdrop, lovely.

I don't think these are the best kind of flowers to show as a silhouette. They have a more delicate, smaller beauty.

I have to agree with you. I started to mask the first one but soon realized how much time it would take so I did an easier one. I'm glad you liked it in the last one though.
