I was inspired by Lynnesite's photos, now I can't see hers. This was on the fourth of July (this past Monday, I have more to go on that). A territorial/nest thing? Lots of noise involved. This is the before, and the beginning, of one encounter. ginger

I like it G :thumb
the blk , white, green color combos are a nice contrast.
Maybe if the piccies were a bit bigger that would be good, JMO though.

Yeah, my opinion, too, Ben. Have a dr appt in 1/2 hr. Did this in the middle of the night. I actually don't know how to make the surrounding space for a triptych................well, I don't know what happened on the photo size, and I am rushed and was rushed last night.

Anyone who knows how exactly to make a triptych, please let me know. I do them, but they are put together kind of funny. I was surprised here on the picture size.

Thanks, ben.........

Ginger,

Great work! They look fantastic together! Very attractive!

Maybe move the little Ginger 'g' further down and away from the text. Anyone who doesn't know your name might think it's a typo.

Beautiful Ginger. The simple black matt works very well. I think I would like to see it framed and with no text. I love the story it tells.

When I make these, I calculate the size of all three photos and add the appropriate amount to the canvas size. Thus: Three 5x4 photos (1/2 of 8x10) in a vertical mount becomes:

5" + 2" + 2" = 9" wide

4" x 3 = 12" + 2" + 2" + 2" +2" = 20" high

I put a grid over it and line up my three photos with 2 inches at top, bottom, sides and in between. The border can be added.

I was so surprised that my photos did end up that small, they started without being resized. then I brought them over here as a large, that would be 800 whatever high. I just don't know how the photos got so small.

This has been a horrible week physically. I really did well in math in school, but this thing makes no sense to me. I will try following what you said tomorrow, or whenever I wake up again........after I go to sleep again. Went to the dr today. Now, I have a basel cell ca that has to come off Aug 10th.

Then I went to Barnes and Noble and the library. Am exhausted still.

Sorry, I answered here, thought I was sending a PM.

Hello,

I think this would look great printed about 4-5 feet tall. Wonderful photos.

For the web the type can be this large (relative to the photos), but if printed I'd make the photos much bigger relative to the text.

Inspiring piece.
