Hi,

This is a quick question for Denise or anyone else out there that knows the answer.
I noticed on a thread that I was reading that Denise mentioned that you can remove the Theme completely on your site and just have your own design.

I can find that thread and from what I remember Denise didn't go into any detail on how to do that.
I have had a search around but can't find anything relevant.

Can someone tell me how that is done - I think he mentioned removing it with CSS?

I have my own background on my site and use the color Khaki as my theme as this is the only one that I can find that doesn't interfere with my setup.

Even Khaki causes that irritating small square at the top left when viewing my Customer galleries here:

Any help appreciated

You choose the all pages theme on the customize tab on the control panel. It's the last entry on that page.

Also see http://www.smugmug.com/help/apply-themes.

Hi Denise,

Thanks for the reply.
I didn't quite understand your answer at first but I do now.
The SM default is Black Gradient according to http://www.smugmug.com/help/apply-themes
So this still shows a Theme - but its the SM default Theme.

When I apply the Default it still shows on my site and effects certain pages in a way that I didn't want.
I am ok with the Khaki theme as this is the best option for the way I have it set out.

...and the small squares that are left with the Khaki theme have also now been sorted

Thanks again

What I am asking is there a way to remove all themes - this is what I thought you commented on in a previous thread - but I could have miss read it.

I have an image as the background to my site.
But from what I understand I still need to pick a theme for all my site or each page.
At present I use the color Khaki as this does not seem to interfere with my site too much.
I wanted to see what it looked like with no Theme enabled.
This may mess my site up completely so it is just something I wanted to try if it is at all possible.
You do not need a theme for your site. Just set the theme to default to use only your own customizations and no theme.

If you have themes specified for specific galleries then you will need to go to customize gallery and set them back to the default theme. You may be able to do this with smugbrowser, haven't tried myself.
