I'd like to share some of my photos in the forums, but I don't wish to open my galleries/photos for easy sharing (which would also allow others to download my images). Is there a way to show photos without making it easy for others to copy these? My website is located at www.gagaphotography.com (http://www.gagaphotography.com). Thanks.

No one can download your photos just because easy sharing is turned on. They can embed the image on a different site if they use get a link, but they'll only have access to the largest file size you have enabled. If you post it yourself on the forum or in a blog, they'll be able to download the image, but again not the original, just whatever size you embed. I don't want other people embedding my images all over the internets, so I used to turn on easy sharing, get the link, and turn it off again. It worked but it was a pain to post images in the forums. However, now what I do is leave easy sharing on, but hide the share button for anyone who's not logged in. So when I'm logged in I can easily get a link, but no one else can.

Tim, thanks so much. After doing a little more searching here, I found that others recommended adding this to the CSS:

.notLoggedIn #shareButton {display:none;}

I did that, followed your advice and things seem to be working as they should. Can you please let me know if you see any image below - and not the dreaded red x's?

Thanks again. Oh, and I took a look at your site; you've got a great eye for photography!
