Ron and I really enjoyed our Zion stop during our Southwest road trip. Every day was productive while we were there. Here's one of my favorites from the whole trip. I hope you like it!

That would be asking too much of everyone but I'm glad that there is at least one person who loves it. :D

Thanks for the comment!
We spent some time trying to find this spot as we had seen a few pictures of it before. Once there, we fought with the other photographers for a good position on the bridge then waited. This was one of the best sunsets I've had the privilege of photographing before.

WOW, I was just there and did a picture of this same river from the bridge! Great minds think alike! Your picture is pretty good, maybe I could take a look at it later with some of my new software that the pro's use.
When I was shooting from that bridge with my new professional camera, it seemed everyone with a camera wanted to copy me!!! Even some photographers with tripods set-up next to me....hahaa when are they going get a clue that tripods are not needed anymore! hahahaaa

You must have one of those special "IS" (image stabilization lenses)

AMAZING. While living in Vegas I camped in Zion every year until we moved. It was one of our favorite places. Thanks for the wonderful picture of a wonderful place! :clap

I really like the soft lighting on the tips of the mountains and the bottoms of the clouds, which is then reflected on the river below. Wonderful shot! Thanks for sharing.

I must admit to having done this before. It always results in keepers.

Thanks! I was fortunate to get a good sunset and show up early enough for a good spot on the bridge.
