View Full Version : Evening Flight Pattern, Ibis?

This could be titled: no room in the lens............. I don't know how the rest of you do it?? Or it could be titled, underexposed, helped by RAW. I have never seen these birds in this rookery before. They flew in in large groups. I tried. (I had overexposed some snowy egrets, they are so white, the folliage is so dark, so my EC was like -2, but I tried for these suckers anyway. Best I have ever done............so far. Don't think I will put them on the front page, but wanted to share and ask how you all get them in your lens. (I know about changing EC, no time, choices, and no warning.)

In this case, I kind of like the parts of birds..........
However, I wish it were a choice thing, seems to be an either/or thing.
Shoot for one thing, like flights of birds, or shoot for birds against folliage.

special birds Ginger. I think you captured them really well. I suppose it is hard to get them into the picture part that you like...
Nice shots. We certainly don't see birds like that overhere in UK

Ginger - these are fun fun fun... who says you MUST get everything in the frame? these work as they are IMHO :thumb
