Very cool website and a great tutorial on why composition is important. As an ex-girlfriend of mine says, composition is absolutely critical.
I liked how they also show great images that break the "rules", such as the old lady dead-center with no background.

Interesting site... Love the one of the "Black Child crying" Wish that they had used the same photos cropped in various methods, so that you could judge the impact of those methods for yourself. But very helpful as basic ref.

:agree - I first saw this one more than a year ago (IIRC), but had totally forgotten it. It' nice to revisit sites like this after you've made a year's worth of mistakes (in my case quite a bit more than a year's worth - I just crammed them all into a year :D). I can see where I made the mistakes and can walk away with more information than I took with me the last time.

Thanks for the link. I remember a lot of the same material from the Kodak Guide to 35mm Photography. Or some other similar book by Kodak. But good information.
