NiceNames not working for protected galleries

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong - this is usually happening to my unlisted, password-protected galleries so it might look weird to you

For example, here's the messy long name of a protected gallery
http://shangchen.smugmug.com/Weddings/090816AdaQizhi/AdaQizhi01/9570809_v3k67
The nice name is
http://shangchen.smugmug.com/Weddings/090816AdaQizhi/AdaQizhi01
But when I type that in, it takes me to the subcategory of http://shangchen.smugmug.com/Weddings/090816AdaQizhi
(sorry if you can't see any of these, but it's what it does for me)

But this public gallery works fine

Nice name

Hi Andy - so for me some reason that nicename takes me to http://shangchen.smugmug.com/Weddings/090816AdaQizhi which is a subcategory page that lists several galleries.
I've logged out of Smugmug and tried the URL
http://shangchen.smugmug.com/Weddings/090816AdaQizhi/AdaQizhi01
and it's the same thing - redirects me to a subcategory, not a gallery.

I'm having the same issue with some recent galleries. Pasting the nice name into my browser brings me to the category page that contains the gallery, not the specific gallery. www.aarondill.com/events/partyinthepark is where I'm having a problem.

I'm sorry. Since they are unlisted, they require the album# and key.

A friend of mine couldn't view one of my private galleries using safari (on a mac). He tried numerous times with no luck. He switched to firefox and got right in.

Have there been other reported problems with safari? Or is this an anomaly?

That doesn't seem right because in the help for NiceNames it explicitly states that they can be used to direct people to unlisted galleries.
