View Full Version : why would anybody use referrals when 50% coupons are floating around?

I have a question... I'd like to recommend a lot of people to smugmug and earn a referral credit. but i can't honestly earn my referral credit in good faith when there are 50% coupon codes floating out there. i don't believe smugmug will honor the referral credit if they're using the 50% coupons.

so what are we supposed to do?

Good question, but since I've gotten two referrals I don't really have a good answer.

That's gotten me a few times now. I refer friends, they find 50% off coupons, I get nothing. Of course I don't blame them, but I never thought it was very fair.
